Jewish Changemakers Fellowship Recruitment Assistant, Community Manager, Faculty and Coach, Jewish Federations of North America, Remote

●  Promote the sessions to potential participants through various personal social channels and networks.

●  Crafting compelling social media posts that effectively communicate the fellowship and encourage potential participants to

apply.

●  Actively engage and monitor, provide additional information to online communities, groups, and forums to reach out to

potential candidates and build connections

●  Monitor the community portal and Zoom meetings by reading comments that fellows post, responding to their comments,

providing resources as needed, and flagging anything that needs to be followed up on. Lead breakout sessions during the

Zoom

●  Facilitate a weekly cohort of 14 Jewish young adults through a curriculum of Jewish learning-themed media, focused on

history, identity, and community.

●  Facilitate one-on-one coaching with each fellow that is part of the cohort.

ACCOUNT MANAGER, BSCHOOL TRAVEL, REMOTE

●  Developing, budgeting, and reconciliation of each international, and domestic travel program and private events for MBA

student groups.

●  Field questions and offer advice to clients to assist with creative problem-solving.

●  Review venue/vendor contracts and client addendums for accuracy and negotiate where applicable.

●  Registration Management including building registration websites, maintaining updates and providing customer service,

reporting as needed to the client and team management and generating any participant emails or other communication, coordinating group registration, and creating visa letters, and airline manifests.

SENIOR TOUR LEADER, BBYO PASSPORT

●  Direct tour group to National Parks and big cities throughout the Western USA as well as to countries in Europe with middle and high schoolers.

●  Ensuring the safety of forty-four teenagers and four staff traveling throughout North America and 65 teens to Europe with 8 staff.

●  Lead interactive programs as an educator, create discussions appropriate to locations being toured, and weekly Shabbat activities.

●  Conserve attorney time by transcribing, formatting, and editing documents, routing correspondence through email and phone calls, and billing clients through MyCase law firm software.

●  Review pitches, vet guest contributor requests for the Packs light travel blog, and edit/proofread/format articles (as well as write

●  Engage members of the Facebook community and host bi-monthly virtual meet-ups. Assist with travel summits, scholarship

applications, and Opportunity courses. Find grants and scholarships for consumers of Packs Light, and organize them through

spreadsheets, newsletters, and graphics which increases engagement on social media platforms.

●  Plan virtual holiday events/gatherings and create marketing/advertising material (graphics, blog posts, writing, social media

posts).

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND ENROLLMENT, HILLEL COMMUNITY DAY SCHOOL, BRIGHTON NY

●  Responsible for working with the School’s Head of School, the Board of Director’s retention committee, the Director of Institutional Advancement, the Director of Business Operations, the PTO, and finance, and marketing committees to ensure that current and prospective families are engaged, properly stewarded, and actively supported in school activities and events. Create relationships with local preschools (directors, teachers, and their families).

●  Accurately manage and promote enrollment of prospective and current family/student data (in Sycamore and Donor Snap), and responsible for school event management (creating events and advertising them through social media, and Constant Contact).

*Traveled to Poland and Israel with Journey For Identity. A selective trip for youth in Rochester, NY and Modiin, Israel where teens travel to discover their roots with a Holocaust survivor and see how their peers live in another culture.

* Traveled on an application based educational trip to holy and historic sites accompanied by stimulating lectures and discussions on Jewish tradition and philosophy, led by academic and rabbinic experts in Israel. Completed Sinai Scholars Society program in Ithaca over a semester before.

*Traveled to Israel with Birthright-Taglit on a program for young adults to experience and explore Israel. 

NYFTSA (New York Film Television Student Alliance) Networking and educational organization that went on a trip to NYC with other college students and professionals to network. Visited the sets of "Orange Is The New Black" and "Sesame Street". I was part of the social media team. 

Selected to represent my college at Saban Program (leadership development) at AIPAC  (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) conference in Washington, D.C. in Summer 2015. This was an event where four hundred top students from over 140 colleges participate in four days of intense leadership programs and advocacy training.

 

Ithaca College Office Of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs (OSEMA) Leadership Retreat at a lodge in Upstate NY.  This was a weekend event that brought together students from a variety of backgrounds on campus to learn leadership skills.
